About Our Guides
Tim
Cook, Owner and
Guide
Founder and
owner of
Alaska ATV
Adventures
and Arctic
Air
Expeditions
is a long
time Alaskan
who moved up
in 1985 from
the remote
Canadian
border area
of
Minnesota.
After
spending 15
years
working
construction
in the
entire state
including
many bush
communities
he decided
to start a
business
that offered
off the
beaten
path options
to visitors
that his
family as
well
as locals
enjoy doing
on their off
time and
Alaska ATV
Adventures
was born.
After
hearing many
requests
from clients
on atv tours
for more
remote trips
and the
desire to
view Polar
Bears he
used his
construction
connections
to gain
access to
areas that
are off
limits to
big tour
companies
and started
Arctic Air
Expeditions
in 2000.
Tim guides
most custom
trips and
Expeditions
himself as
well as some
of the 3 and
4 hour tours
close to
Anchorage.
With new and
exciting
people to
meet from
the US
and around
the world
there is
never a dull
moment!
Sarah, Alaskan
Guide
Sarah comes from
a long line of
Alaskan guides and
bush pilots.
Her family has a
remote wilderness
camp 700 air miles
West of Anchorage.
She lives at the
Bird Creek site
during the summer
and likes to travel
in the winter
months. Highlights of
the summer season
are the many
wildlife sightings,
the diverse
clientele and the
chance meeting of
someone from some
place she has
visited in her
travels.
Andrea

Tim's
daughters Andrea and
Abbey were born and

and love meeting new
people while
enjoying the Alaskan
outdoors.
Andrea attends the
University of Alaska
Anchorage and Abbey
is in high school in
Chugiak, Alaska.
They help in the
family business when
they get time off
from their studies.
